NURSE PRACTITIONER SERVICES
CLINIC DAYS EVERY MONDAY EXCEPT FOR STAT MONDAYS, THEN OPEN TUESDAY:
January 3rd, 9th, 16th Lab Hours: 8:30-10:30

No Health Clinic on Jan 23rd, 30th or Feb 6
8:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Closed 12:00-1:00 for Lunch)
CLINIC HOURS: Every Monday, except for Stat Monday, then on Tuesday
TIME: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm (closed 12-1 for lunch)
NOTE: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on 4th Monday of each month

NURSE PRACTITIONER: Liz Thorpe
SERVICES INCLUDE:
- Assessment, and management of common medical issues such as flu, colds, fevers, chilhood dieseases, rashers, sore throats, bladder infictions, birth control, pregnancy testing, sexually transmitted diseases, mental health concerns, women's health concers, wart removal
- Manage and provide prescriptions for stable chronic conditions
- Complete physical exams, including SGI medicals
- Order test, X-rays, ultrasounds
- Write new, or, reorder prescriptions
- Lab services on site for blood work
- Minor surgical procedures such as suturing
- Syringe ears
- Health promotion, illness and injury prevention
- Work with you to help you manage your health and illnesses
A Nurse Practitioner is a registered nurse with advanced education and training to diagnose and manage common medical conditions, including chronic illnesses.
The NP maintains a close working relationship with a Physician. They can provide a broad range of health care services and provide much of the same care provided by a physician.
The NP can serve as a patient's regular health care provider, and see patients of all ages. Np's focus on patients' conditions, as well as the effects of illness on the lives of the patients and their families.
