Candle Lake Parks & Rec. aims to promote and create programs that enhance the quality of life for people at Candle Lake.
We manage the REC HALL, BALL DIAMONDS AND PLAYGROUND. Phone our P & R assistant at 960-3568 for rental info.
We promote the CANDLE LAKE WALKING TRAIL SYSTEM.
We co-ordinate monthly BINGOS.
At the end of November we host an ANNUAL CHRISTMAS SUPPER & PROGRAM.
We hold CANADA DAY CELEBRATIONS with a parade, good food, and fireworks.
We distribute and co-ordinate COMMUNITY GRANTS.
We promote all YOUTH PROGRAMS in the Rec. Hall.
We co-ordinate and promote the FINE ARTS.

Each summer we host SWIMMING LESSONS and MOBILE PLAYGROUND
for the youth.
We initiated and now promote Communities in Bloom WELCOME to the LAKE signage and the PITCH IN in MAY spring clean-up campaign.
We co-ordinate VOLUNTEERS and recognize those that make Candle Lake a better place to live with an AWARDS PROGRAM.
In all of these programs we partner with the people of Candle Lake, the Resort Village, Communities in Bloom and Tourism Parks Culture and Sport (TPCS)
